Okay, the picking, this is the trickier bit for beginners. I'm not sure whether i got it right, but it sounds okay. But you'll get the hang of it in time, other wise, just strum. It's hard to explain. Say you're playing a c chord,you pluck a bass note with your thumb[t] (either E or A string it doesn't matter), and use your index[i], middle[m] and ring[r] fingers to pluck the G,B & e strings. This is how i play C G F G: (p means pause for one count) Too confusing? Stuff the picking then, make it up.
